Stay Finder helps you compare hotel, B&B and vacation-rental quotes with the complete trip in view. This free preview supports your own quotes, example options, local backups and CSV exports. Live supplier inventory is not connected yet.
Start with the same trip
Add a quoted stay with its area, check-in and check-out dates, rooms or rental units, adult count and child ages. Use the same area label for properties you want grouped together. Different dates, occupancy, currencies and examples are kept in separate groups. A stay can be 1–99 nights with up to 16 guests and eight rooms, with at least one adult per room.
Enter costs once
The base amount can cover the whole stay, all rooms for one night, or one room for one night. Add only taxes and fees that are not already included. Blank additional amounts mean unknown; zero means none due or already included. Extra charges can be per stay, per night, per room-night or per guest-night. Enter exact seller amounts rather than guessed tax percentages. Guest-night calculations include every entered child.
Mandatory charges due at the property are separate from the base quote. They can be in another supported currency; we do not convert or combine currencies. Mark all mandatory charges reviewed only after checking the seller’s breakdown. A complete entered cost is your recorded calculation, not a verified live price. A rounded nightly average is a comparison aid, not a quote for a single night.
Keep deposits distinct
A refundable security deposit is shown separately and is not counted as an expense. A booking deposit or prepayment already included in the base quote must not be added as an extra charge. Record uncertain payment conditions in notes and confirm them with the seller.
Review cancellation
Choose unknown, non-refundable, or a timeline. Enter each timeline line as a UTC deadline, refund amount and currency, separated with vertical bars. For example: 2026-11-10T12:00:00Z | 300.00 | USD. List deadlines in chronological order. The refund is valid strictly before its deadline. The card shows the current recorded refund with your browser’s time zone and retains all UTC deadlines. Property charges and security deposits may follow different conditions.
Compare selected options
Choose Compare on up to four saved quotes in the same trip group. The side-by-side table keeps whole-stay costs, missing charges, refundable deposits, rooms, meals and amenities together. Set the refund-check time explicitly in UTC to review the recorded cancellation timeline. Deadlines are exclusive. Refunds remain separate quoted amounts; they are not deducted from stay costs or treated as guaranteed payments. Separate property charges and deposits may have different terms. Export selected CSV preserves the exact chosen time and recorded facts.
Protect your saved shortlist
Device writes use browser locks and compare the saved version before changing it. A stale tab cannot silently overwrite or delete another tab’s newer list. Download the open shortlist before reopening saved data after a conflict. Browsers without safe locking can still compare and download backups. “Download saved data” preserves the original stored JSON for recovery, even if the list cannot be opened. A delayed import preserves newer list or editor work.
Location and filters
The destination search uses 7,342 approximate settlement reference points from Natural Earth. It is not an address geocoder or a complete list of towns. Choose a suggestion, check the coordinates, and adjust them if needed. Quoted properties can include their coordinates. Distance filters calculate straight-line kilometres from your selected search point, not driving or walking time. “View location” opens OpenStreetMap only when you select it.
Your private cloud shortlist
When account setup is enabled, use your own Stay Finder email/password or Google sign-in. Check the saved cloud version before replacing it. Opening a cloud list requires confirmation; saving and deleting are explicit. A conflict preserves your open work. If a response is lost, this tab retains the original request for an explicit retry or read-only confirmation. Sign-out clears account-owned open lists and editor content. Saved device copies and downloads remain.
Keep your work
Up to 100 options stay in the open page until you explicitly save on this device or download a JSON backup. Backups preserve all editable details. CSV is a comparison summary. Opening a backup or saved list asks before replacing an existing shortlist. Storage failures preserve your open work. Another tab changing the stored list triggers a warning. Anyone using the same browser profile can access its saved list.
Supplier search
The prepared Duffel connection searches one room in an area and fetches supported public room rates on request. It is disabled until credentials, spending limits, privacy review and live integration checks are complete. Search prices are indicative; room rates can change and do not reserve inventory. The initial supported rate flow excludes member, negotiated, mobile-only and non-pay-now rates. It does not promise access to every hotel, B&B or rental platform. Booking and payment handoff still require implementation and acceptance.
Preview boundaries
Account services are not enabled in this public preview. The prepared email/password and Google flows support an explicitly saved private cloud shortlist; device copies remain separate. Full account archives, permanent account removal, bookings and purchases still need implementation or actual provider acceptance. Recheck availability, price, guest eligibility and cancellation/payment terms with the seller before purchasing. No GPT calls are used for calculations, filtering or comparison.
